Major insurer Primerica is set to release performance figures for the fourth quarter of 2016 in February, but a peek into preliminary data reveals robust growth led by a boost in the firm’s sales force.

A report by Business Wire revealed that Primerica’s north American operations benefitted greatly from a 15% year on year addition of new representatives, while life insurance licenses grew by 12% in the same period.

Meanwhile, the firm issued almost $90 billion in new term life insurance face amount, as term life insurance policies face amount totaled $728 billion.

Investment and savings product sales reached $5.5 billion as client asset values increased to more than $51 billion.

“Our field force is the most important factor of our success, and I am proud of the leadership provided by our representatives and their outstanding performance,” Primerica chief executive Glenn Williams said in the wire report.
