New president elected at annual general meeting in Montreal

The Society of Risk Management Consultants has elected a new president for 2017, it has been announced.

David Stegall has been appointed to the role, the organization announced on Sunday, after being elected at the group’s annual general meeting in Montreal, Quebec, last month.



Stegall is principal consultant at Risk Consulting & Expert Services, a risk management and insurance consulting firm in Alabama, US, which he founded in 2007, and also holds a B.A degree in communications from Auburn University, Alabama.

The organization, an international network of professionals engaged in risk management and insurance consulting, also elected for several other key roles at the meeting.

Benjamin C. Few, of Ben Few & Company in Florida, US, was named president-elect; Christopher J. Franki, vice president and principal consultant with Insurance Buyers’ Council in Maryland, US, was appointed secretary; and Joe C. Underwood, principal at Albert Risk Management Consultants in Massachusetts, will take up the role of treasurer.
