This coming weekend, thousands of snowmobile riders and racing fans will descend on Valcourt for the 34th Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt.

For the fourth year in a row, property and casualty insurance provider Intact Insurance has sponsored and helped organize the event to be held February 12 to 14.

The three-day event includes snowmobile, motorcycle, and quad-bike races, as well as performances from Jonathan Painchaud and other musical acts. A giant slide, inflatable games, fireworks show, and many other activities are scheduled to provide entertainment for the whole family

“We are happy to support the Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt once again. It's one of the most popular and prestigious winter motor sports events in the world.” said Jean-François Desautels, SVP of Intact Insurance. He also reminded sledders and ATV riders to always use marked trails and to obey all signage and speed limits to ensure safety.

The Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt, formerly named Festival International de la Motoneige, was first held in 1983 by the Quebec Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (FCMQ).
