The increasing digitalization of services continues to allow for business mash-ups and cross sector collaboration. On Thursday, Canadian auto insurance price comparison site ShopInsuranceCanada.ca struck a deal with Unhaggle.com to give consumers auto insurance options when shopping for a new car.

The idea is that while shopping for the best priced cars offered by Unhaggle’s dealer auctions, consumers will also be able to see how their chosen vehicle stacks up in terms of auto insurance and also find favourable rates.

Shop Insurance Canada works with around 25 auto insurance providers to deliver tailored quotes, and said the partnership means people looking for a new car can have extra help in selecting the best vehicle for them, allowing consumers to get deeper information regarding the car of their choice and the best premium possible.
