Forbes Magazine has named CAA Insurance Company Canada’s best auto insurance provider in its debut “World’s Best Auto Insurance Companies” list.
The selection process involved a rigorous assessment conducted by Forbes in collaboration with Statista, a market research firm. The survey encompassed 15 countries and garnered insights from over 30,000 respondents between mid-March and mid-April.
Participants who had held auto insurance policies within the past three years were tasked with evaluating various criteria, including employee advice, customer service, price performance, transparency, and damage service.
According to a news release, CAA Insurance emerged as a standout performer across all categories.
“We are honoured to be recognized by Forbes Magazine as the best auto insurance provider in Canada,” said Matthew Turack, president of CAA Insurance Company.
“This recognition underscores CAA Insurance’s commitment to our customers and how we continuously strive to do what is right for them and the communities we serve.”
Established in 1974, CAA Insurance has evolved its offerings to meet the diverse needs of customers at different stages of life. In 2018, it introduced CAA MyPace, a pay-as-you-go policy. This program expanded to Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick in 2019.
Turack emphasized the importance of adapting to consumer preferences: “The modernization of insurance starts by considering the lifestyle of consumers and responding to their needs – CAA MyPace is a strong example of this.”
CAA Insurance also has been a pioneer in promoting safer driving practices and rewarding responsible policyholders. In 2011, it became the first insurer in Ontario to introduce a winter tire discount, promoting initiatives aimed at enhancing road safety.
CAA Insurance operates in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. All CAA Insurance agents and brokers are licensed through each province’s regulatory bodies.
