To compile the rankings, IBC conducted comprehensive interviews and surveys with the nation’s brokers.
Over a period of 15 weeks, IBC gathered insights from its extensive network, soliciting feedback on the professional liability and D&O insurers brokers have worked with in the preceding year. The evaluation criteria focused on coverage, underwriting knowledge, and effectiveness in risk mitigation.
Only companies that received an average rating above 4 out of 5 from brokers were designated as Canada’s top-tier professional liability and D&O insurance carriers, earning the prestigious 5-star rating.
Among the awardees this year is Northbridge Insurance, recognised for its prominence in the Canadian commercial insurance sector.
